Commited To Education
 |

During my years of global travel I discovered education comes in many forms. To many college is important, to others trade school is the answer, while in many countries military training is part of the culture. No matter what the direction of the individual, education of any kind is extremely important. It is also important to note education is also a life long process. I strive to learn something new about the real estate business every day.
My commitment to education at every level is very strong. In addition to being a member of our local school's Board Of Education, I am an active faculty member of the University Of Phoenix Graduate School Of Business. Every year I teach classes in business, marketing, and sales to adults desiring to advance their careers. Students in my classes have an average age of just over 35 years with a minimum of 23 to be accepted to the school. As a client you will benefit from both the subject matter I teach and the delivery methods I have developed.
Selling real estate is very much like teaching. As a Realtor I have the opportunity to combine presentation skills, market research and effective communication to create a learning environment for both buyers and sellers. I am committed to educating my clients on the various aspects of their real estate transaction. Some clients don't want to understand all of the details and that is acceptable, I will take you through the transaction. However, there are many who want to understand every detail of the transaction. Having been in a classroom on a part time basis since 1984, I have developed the skills necessary to effectively educate my clients on all aspects of their transaction. Contracts are now multiple pages, disclosure rules are imposing, and the selling process is even more demanding. Because of this increasing complexity and constant change, you need a professional who is readily available and who understands the industry. Be it a 1031 tax deferred exchange or the details of the city's general plan, I am prepared to support your need for information and understanding.
Given my strong belief in the power of education, you will not be surprised by my commitment to the education of our youth. Not only do I use my advanced degrees to gain an advantage for my clients, I continue to share this knowledge within the local business community. I am currently active in the community as the Vice President of the Livermore Valley Education Foundation helping attract new gifts to fund our children's education in these trying times of budget deficits. I am also an active member of the Livermore Chamber of Commerce's Education Committee searching for other ways the business community can further educate those within the local area.
My Commitment To Your Children's Education
In 2004 I have committed to provide a donation of $500 to the Livermore Valley Education Foundation or a similar qualified program in the community for every escrow that I close. I also I encourage all my clients to contribute to the organization in your community supporting the education of our future - your children.
