The views of my friends added detail to my fundamental operating principles. I am not in business to sell every home in every town around us. I am in business to satisfy my clients by working closely with them to get the results they expect. I will not try to sell every house in five different towns. My primary focus is serving my clients here the Tri-Valley and surrounding area. However, once I am committed to you as a client, I will continue to support you as you move about the region because my focus is on serving you.
I create a detailed business plan every year identifying how many homes I plan to sell and how much I plan to invest in the business to effectively serve my clients. If I am unable to provide exemplary service because of schedule or market conflicts, I will openly tell you of the issues and clearly state what I believe I can achieve for you and when. If I am unable to commit to providing the results you expect, I will be pleased to refer you to another professional in our community who can better meet your needs.
My personal business ethics require that I am open and truthful in every communication. I will never tell you what you want to hear just to get your business, I will tell you what in my professional opinion I believe to be correct and I will tell you why I believe it to be correct. All questions will be answered honestly, professionally, and correctly. If I don't know, I will tell you I don't know and then make a commitment to get you a correct answer. I will then follow up with that answer when I say I will.
Open, honest and frequent communications are required at every stage of a real estate transaction. I won't just drop a sign in the front lawn and enter your home in the multiple listings while I wait for a buyer. I take the time to develop a custom and effective market plan for every home and follow through with that plan in order to achieve the desired results. Throughout the implementation of your marketing plan, only the highest quality vendors and products are used.
Whether a buyer or seller, I commit to supporting every aspect of your transaction. I will work with you to negotiate the best possible transaction for the home you want. I will them follow through by being present at every inspection, every walk through and at the time of closing. In every transaction I use the services of a professional transaction coordinator who will assist us in keeping every piece of the transaction visible and on track from the opening to the closing of your escrow. My job is simply to take you through the purchase or sale in the most positive manner possible. Buying or selling a home should be an enjoyable experience, not one to generate yet another horror story in support of the list above.
It is your needs that drive my business. The only thing my golf game does is keep the ball manufacturers in business because I am truly bad at the game. Buying or selling a home is an emotional event. To be successful requires a partnership between a Realtor who can handle all of the details of the transaction and the family making the emotional investment in the move.
